Between November 19 and 21, José Eduardo dos Santos University (UJES) held the 2025 edition of Scientific August, an event that celebrates Angola’s 50th anniversary and reinforces the institution’s commitment to innovation, scientific research, and academic development.

Project partners will organize, on September 24 at 3:00 p.m. (Angola), the webinar in Portuguese “The impact of clinical simulation on obstetric and neonatal nursing,” which will be given by Marlene Gueve Dumba Amorim.

World Patient Safety Day is observed on September 17th. This year’s campaign focuses on the theme “Safe care for every newborn and every child” under the slogan “Patient safety from the start!”, highlighting the vulnerability of this age group to the risks and harms of unsafe care, according to WHO.

The Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER), in collaboration with the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic) and the Universidade Internacional do Cuanza (International University of Cuanza), recently published the NutriPALOP Study: Research on the Dietary and Health Habits of Angolan Participants report.

The Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER) will organize, next January 27th at 17:00 hours (Spain), the webinar in Portuguese “The Role of Angolan Nurses in Patient Safety: Prevention of Medication Errors”, which will be given by Eduardo Elambo.
