Currently ORDENFA controls over 78,000 nursing professionals (pre-service and in-service) distributed across 18 provinces.

The Instituto Politécnico de Portalegre (IPP) is a distinguished polytechnic institution located in Portalegre (Portugal). IPP offers a degree in nursing with the objective to train highly qualified nursing professionals with cultural preparation. IPP stimulates the development of nursing training by promoting cultural, scientific and technical exchange with other institutions. One of their main objectives is to respond to contemporary challenges associated with the need for entrepreneurship in nursing and health, which is a problem Angola is facing. IPP has relevant expertise with the Centre for Nursing Practice Simulation and experience of intervention in the community. This centre is a space for practical activities integrated in the different nursing curricular units of the Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree courses in Nursing and the provision of services to the community.

UVa will collaborate in the project through their Advanced Clinical Simulation Center led by Dr. Francisco Martín. In their premises, they recreate real situations as faithfully as possible: environment, furniture, high-performance simulator based on a physiological model, equipment, real consumables, communications, complementary tests, etc.

Collegium Medicum, UJK medical faculty, is a fully independent scientific, research and educational centre, dating back almost half a century.
